Human MAP tau (Microtubule Associated Protein Tau/Tau Protein) CLIA Kit
The Human MAPTAU (Microtubule-Associated Protein Tau) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate quantification of tau protein levels in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for various research applications in the field of neurodegenerative disorders.Tau protein is a key player in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, where abnormal tau aggregation leads to the formation of neurofibrillary tangles. Studying tau protein levels can provide valuable insights into the progression of these conditions and aid in the development of potential therapeutic interventions. With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Human MAPTAU CLIA Kit from AssayGenie is a valuable tool for researchers looking to accurately measure tau protein levels and unravel the complexities of neurodegenerative disorders.

This kit uses a sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) principle. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody is then added, followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin to form a sandwich complex. After washing to remove unbound components, a chemiluminescent substrate is added. The HRP enzyme catalyzes a light-emitting reaction. The intensity of the emitted light is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample. The signal is measured using a luminometer, and the concentration of the analyte is calculated based on a standard curve.
