[KO Validated] active + pro Caspase-3 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19654)
The [KO Validated] active + pro Caspase-3 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19654) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, developed using rabbit monoclonal technology, is highly specific and sensitive for detecting active pro-caspase-3 in various biological samples.Validated for knockout (KO) studies, this antibody is ideal for confirming the presence and activity of pro-caspase-3 in cell lysates or tissue samples. Its high specificity ensures accurate results in Western blot applications, making it an essential tool for researchers investigating apoptosis, cell signaling pathways, and potential therapeutic targets in cancer research and other disease contexts.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cysteine-aspartic acid protease that plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. The encoded protein cleaves and inactivates poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase while it cleaves and activates sterol regulatory element binding proteins as well as caspases 6, 7, and 9. This protein itself is processed by caspases 8, 9, and 10. It is the predominant caspase involved in the cleavage of amyloid-beta 4A precursor protein, which is associated with neuronal death in Alzheimer's disease.
