The PPM1G Monoclonal Antibody (CAB20959) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This polyclonal antibody, developed in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity in detecting PPM1G in human samples, making it suitable for use in Western blotting and immunohistochemistry studies.PPM1G, also known as protein phosphatase Mg2+/Mn2+ dependent 1G, plays a crucial role in dephosphorylating target proteins and regulating their activity.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases. PP2C family members are known to be negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. This phosphatase is found to be responsible for the dephosphorylation of Pre-mRNA splicing factors, which is important for the formation of functional spliceosome. Studies of a similar gene in mice suggested a role of this phosphatase in regulating cell cycle progression.
