Description
BVDV Capsid Recombinant Protein (N-His)
BVDV Capsid Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser169-Gly270, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Genome polyprotein is a ~449 kDa protein. Leader cysteine autoprotease that cleaves itself from the nascent polyprotein during translation of the viral mRNA. For research use only.
Once released, plays a role in the inhibition of host innate immune response by interacting with host IRF3 and inducing its proteasomal degradation.
