The Caspase-6 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19552) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. Caspase-6 is a key player in the cascade of events leading to programmed cell death, making this antibody essential for investigating these pathways in various cell types. This antibody, developed using rabbits, offers high specificity and sensitivity for detecting Caspase-6 protein in human samples. Validated for Western blot applications, it allows for precise detection and analysis of Caspase-6 levels in experimental settings. Caspase-6 is particularly relevant in cancer research, where dysregulation of apoptosis pathways can contribute to tumorigenesis and resistance to therapy.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family of enzymes. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic acid residues to produce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme. This protein is processed by caspases 7, 8 and 10, and is thought to function as a downstream enzyme in the caspase activation cascade. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants that encode different isoforms.
