Description
dATP solution for PCR
dATP (100 mM) is a high-purity single-nucleotide solution for PCR, sequencing, labelling and other molecular-biology reactions that need individual deoxynucleotides.
Purity is >99% by HPLC, and the solution is free from PCR, qPCR and reverse transcription inhibitors. Supplied as a sodium salt solution at pH 7.0–9.0, it can be combined with the other individual dNTPs at any ratio to build custom nucleotide mixes. Applications include PCR, real-time PCR, RT-PCR, cDNA and general DNA synthesis, primer extension, DNA sequencing and DNA labelling. For research use only.

- Prepare the nucleotide mix
- Combine with other dNTPs, or use separately, at the concentrations your reaction requires.
- Add to the reaction
- Standard 50 μl PCR: 0.1 μl dATP (100 mM).
- Standard 20 μl reverse transcription: 0.1 μl dATP (100 mM).
Q1: How much dATP should I add to a PCR?
- For a standard 50 μl PCR, add 0.1 μl of the 100 mM solution. For a standard 20 μl reverse transcription reaction, the recommended amount is also 0.1 μl.
Q2: What is the formulation?
- A 100 mM sodium salt solution at pH 7.0–9.0, with >99% purity by HPLC.
