HSV-2 gD/US6 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys26-Pro339, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 37.20 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Envelope glycoprotein D is a ~43 kDa protein. Envelope glycoprotein that binds to the host cell entry receptors NECTIN1, NECTIN2 and TNFRSF14/HVEM, promoting the virus entry into host cells.
