Description
Human ADA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ADA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys11-Val280, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.45 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is a ~40 kDa protein. Catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine. For research use only.
Plays an important role in purine metabolism and in adenosine homeostasis. Modulates signaling by extracellular adenosine, and so contributes indirectly to cellular signaling events. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation, by binding DPP4. Its interaction with DPP4 regulates lymphocyte-epithelial cell adhesion.
