Description
Human ADD3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ADD3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys227, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 27.6 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Gamma-adducin (ADD3) is a ~79 kDa protein. Membrane-cytoskeleton-associated protein that promotes the assembly of the spectrin-actin network. For research use only.
Plays a role in actin filament capping. Binds to calmodulin (Probable). Involved in myogenic reactivity of the renal afferent arteriole (Af-art), renal interlobular arteries and middle cerebral artery (MCA) to increased perfusion pressure. Involved in regulation of potassium channels in the vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) of the Af-art and MCA ex vivo.
