Human Adenosine deaminase / ADA ELISA Kit

Adenosine deaminase/ADA encodes an enzyme in the purine catabolic pathway that catalyzes the breakdown of adenosine to inosine. Several variations have been reported for Adenosine deaminase/ADA and are linked to human diseases such as severe combined immunodeficiency disease (SCID), which is caused by a loss of ADA activity, among other things. T, B, and NK lymphocytes are depleted in individuals with ADA deficiency, resulting in a lack of both humoral and cellular immunity. Congenital hemolytic anemia is linked to high amounts of this enzyme. Autosomal Recessive, T Cell-Negative, B Cell-Negative, Nk Cell-Negative, due to Adenosine Deaminase Deficiency are some of the diseases associated with ADA.
