Description
Human AGFG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human AGFG1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Thr151, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 19.29 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Arf-GAP domain and FG repeat-containing protein 1 (AGFG1) is a ~58 kDa protein. Required for vesicle docking or fusion during acrosome biogenesis. For research use only.
May play a role in RNA trafficking or localization. In case of infection by HIV-1, acts as a cofactor for viral Rev and promotes movement of Rev-responsive element-containing RNAs from the nuclear periphery to the cytoplasm. This step is essential for HIV-1 replication.
