Human AOC2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human AOC2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr26-Phe756, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 83.20 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Amine oxidase [copper-containing] 2 is a ~83 kDa protein. Catalyzes the oxidative deamination of primary amines to the corresponding aldehydes with the concomitant production of hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. For research use only.
Has a preference for 2-phenylethylamine, tryptamine and tyramine. Could also act on methylamine and benzylamine but much less efficiently.
