Human APOH Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr22-Cys345, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 38.33 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Beta-2-glycoprotein 1 (APOH) is a ~38 kDa protein. Binds to various kinds of negatively charged substances such as heparin, phospholipids, and dextran sulfate. For research use only.
May prevent activation of the intrinsic blood coagulation cascade by binding to phospholipids on the surface of damaged cells.
