Description
Human ARF4 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human ARF4 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Arg180, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.67 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. ADP-ribosylation factor 4 (ARF4) is a ~20 kDa protein. GTP-binding protein that functions as an allosteric activator of the cholera toxin catalytic subunit, an ADP-ribosyltransferase. For research use only.
Involved in protein trafficking; may modulate vesicle budding and uncoating within the Golgi apparatus. Part of the ciliary targeting complex containing Rab11, ASAP1, Rabin8/RAB3IP, RAB11FIP3 and ARF4, which direct preciliary vesicle trafficking to mother centriole and ciliogenesis initiation.
