Human BCL2A1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Cys175, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Bcl-2-related protein A1 is a ~20 kDa protein. Retards apoptosis induced by IL-3 deprivation. For research use only.
May function in the response of hemopoietic cells to external signals and in maintaining endothelial survival during infection. Can inhibit apoptosis induced by serum starvation in the mammary epithelial cell line HC11.
