Human CALML3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys149, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 19.05 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Calmodulin-like protein 3 (CALML3) is a ~16 kDa protein. May function as a specific light chain of unconventional myosin-10 (MYO10), also enhances MYO10 translation, possibly by acting as a chaperone for the emerging MYO10 heavy chain protein. May compete with calmodulin by binding, with different affinities, to cellular substrates.
