Description
Human CD100/SEMA4D Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD100/SEMA4D Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Arg734, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 82.45 kDa. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Semaphorin-4D (CD100/SEMA4D) is a ~96 kDa protein. Cell surface receptor for PLXNB1 and PLXNB2 that plays an important role in cell-cell signaling. For research use only.
Regulates GABAergic synapse development. Promotes the development of inhibitory synapses in a PLXNB1-dependent manner. Modulates the complexity and arborization of developing neurites in hippocampal neurons by activating PLXNB1 and interaction with PLXNB1 mediates activation of RHOA. Promotes the migration of cerebellar granule cells.
