Human CD111/NECTIN1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ser30-Thr334, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 36.34 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Acts by forming homophilic or heterophilic trans-dimers. Heterophilic interactions have been detected between NECTIN1 and NECTIN3 and between NECTIN1 and NECTIN4. Involved in axon guidance by promoting contacts between the commissural axons and the floor plate cells. Involved in synaptogegesis.
