Description
Human CD112/Nectin-2/PVRL2 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD112/Nectin-2/PVRL2 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Leu360, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 39.79 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Nectin-2 (CD112/PVRL2) is a ~57 kDa protein. Modulator of T-cell signaling. For research use only.
Can be either a costimulator of T-cell function, or a coinhibitor, depending on the receptor it binds to. Upon binding to CD226, stimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production, including that of IL2, IL5, IL10, IL13, and IFNG. Upon interaction with PVRIG, inhibits T-cell proliferation. These interactions are competitive.
