Description
Human CD123/IL3RA Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD123/IL3RA Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr19-Asp157, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.06 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha (CD123/IL-3Rα) is a ~43 kDa protein. Cell surface receptor for IL3 expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells, monocytes and B-lymphocytes that controls the production and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells into lineage-restricted cells. For research use only.
Ligand stimulation rapidly induces hetrodimerization with IL3RB, phosphorylation and enzyme activity of effector proteins such as JAK2 and PI3K that play a role in signaling cell proliferation and differentiation. Activation of JAK2 leads to STAT5-mediated transcriptional program.
