Description
Human CD158a/KIR2DL1 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD158a/KIR2DL1 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-His245, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.85 kDa. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 2DL1 (CD158a/KIR2DL1) is a ~38 kDa protein. Receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for some HLA-C alleles such as w4 and w6. For research use only.
Inhibits the activity of NK cells thus preventing cell lysis.
