Description
Human CD180 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD180 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr430-Gly626, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 24.02 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. CD180 antigen is a ~74 kDa protein. Pattern recognition receptor predominantly expressed on B-cells, dendritic cells, and certain monocytes/macrophages, structurally resembling Toll-like receptors (TLRs) that plays a role in modulating immune responses. For research use only.
While ressembling a TLR, lacks the intracellular TIR (Toll/IL-1R) signaling domain and thus does not directly transduce signals. Instead, modulates immune responses, often in conjunction with other TLRs. For example, in cooperation with MD-1/LY86, interacts directly with the TLR4 signaling complex, inhibiting its ability to bind microbial ligand.
