Human CD19 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD19 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Lys291, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 34.17 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 is a ~61 kDa protein. Functions as a coreceptor for the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) on B-lymphocytes. For research use only.
Decreases the threshold for activation of downstream signaling pathways and for triggering B-cell responses to antigens. Activates signaling pathways that lead to the activation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and the mobilization of intracellular Ca(2+) stores. Is not required for early steps during B cell differentiation in the blood marrow. Required for normal differentiation of B-1 cells. CD19 is the therapeutic target of tafasitamab (Monjuvi).
