Description
Human CD20/MS4A1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD20/MS4A1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Glu213-Pro297, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 11.01 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. B-lymphocyte antigen CD20 (MS4A1) is a ~33 kDa protein. B-lymphocyte-specific membrane protein that plays a role in the regulation of cellular calcium influx necessary for the development, differentiation, and activation of B-lymphocytes. For research use only.
Functions as a store-operated calcium (SOC) channel component promoting calcium influx after activation by the B-cell receptor/BCR. CD20 is the therapeutic target of rituximab (MabThera) and obinutuzumab (Gazyva).
