Description
Human CD300f/CD300LF Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human CD300f/CD300LF Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Thr20-Leu155, with a C-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. CMRF35-like molecule 1 (CD300f/CD300LF) is a ~32 kDa protein. Acts as an inhibitory receptor for myeloid cells and mast cells. For research use only.
Positively regulates the phagocytosis of apoptotic cells (efferocytosis) via phosphatidylserine (PS) recognition; recognizes and binds PS as a ligand which is expressed on the surface of apoptotic cells. Plays an important role in the maintenance of immune homeostasis, by promoting macrophage-mediated efferocytosis and by inhibiting dendritic cell-mediated efferocytosis. Negatively regulates Fc epsilon receptor-dependent mast cell activation and allergic responses via binding to ceramide and sphingomyelin which act as ligands. May act as a coreceptor for interleukin 4 (IL-4). _x000D_ _x000D_
