Human CD340/ERBB2 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Met1-Thr652, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 72.84 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Receptor tyrosine-protein kinase erbB-2 (CD340/ERBB2) is a ~137 kDa protein. Protein tyrosine kinase that is part of several cell surface receptor complexes, but that apparently needs a coreceptor for ligand binding. For research use only.
Essential component of a neuregulin-receptor complex, although neuregulins do not interact with it alone. GP30 is a potential ligand for this receptor. Regulates outgrowth and stabilization of peripheral microtubules (MTs). Upon ERBB2 activation, the MEMO1-RHOA-DIAPH1 signaling pathway elicits the phosphorylation and thus the inhibition of GSK3B at cell membrane. CD340 is the therapeutic target of trastuzumab (Herceptin) and trastuzumab deruxtecan (Enhertu).
