Description
Human CD45/PTPRC Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD45/PTPRC Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr24-Asn575, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 63.01 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase C (CD45/PTPRC) is a ~147 kDa protein. Protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. For research use only.
Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second one seems to affect the substrate specificity of the first one. Upon T-cell activation, recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN. Dephosphorylates LYN, and thereby modulates LYN activity.
