Description
Human CD66d/CEACAM3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD66d/CEACAM3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Lys35-Gly155, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 15.39 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Cell adhesion molecule CEACAM3 (CD66d) is a ~27 kDa protein. Major granulocyte receptor mediating recognition and efficient opsonin-independent phagocytosis of CEACAM-binding microorganisms, including Neissiria, Moxarella and Haemophilus species, thus playing an important role in the clearance of pathogens by the innate immune system. For research use only.
Responsible for RAC1 stimulation in the course of pathogen phagocytosis.
