Description
Human CD96 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CD96 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Val22-Leu342, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 39.01 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. T-cell surface protein tactile is a ~65 kDa protein. May be involved in adhesive interactions of activated T and NK cells during the late phase of the immune response. For research use only.
Promotes NK cell-target adhesion by interacting with PVR present on target cells. May function at a time after T and NK cells have penetrated the endothelium using integrins and selectins, when they are actively engaging diseased cells and moving within areas of inflammation.
