Human CDT1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CDT1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Thr112-Ser386, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. DNA replication factor Cdt1 is a ~60 kDa protein. Required for both DNA replication and mitosis. For research use only.
DNA replication licensing factor, required for pre-replication complex assembly. Cooperates with CDC6 and the origin recognition complex (ORC) during G1 phase of the cell cycle to promote the loading of the mini-chromosome maintenance (MCM) complex onto DNA to generate pre-replication complexes (pre-RC). Required also for mitosis by promoting stable kinetochore-microtubule attachments. Potential oncogene.
