Human CFL2 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO)
Human CFL2 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Ala2-Leu166, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag. Predicted molecular weight: 30.95 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Cofilin-2 (CFL2) is a ~18 kDa protein. Controls reversibly actin polymerization and depolymerization in a pH-sensitive manner. For research use only.
Its F-actin depolymerization activity is regulated by association with CSPR3. It has the ability to bind G- and F-actin in a 1:1 ratio of cofilin to actin. It is the major component of intranuclear and cytoplasmic actin rods. Required for muscle maintenance.
