Description
Human CGB3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CGB3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Pro31-Gln165, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 16.6 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Choriogonadotropin subunit beta 3 (hCG/CGB) is a ~17 kDa protein. Beta subunit of the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). hCG is a complex glycoprotein composed of two glycosylated subunits alpha and beta which are non-covalently associated. For research use only.
The alpha subunit is identical to those in the pituitary gonadotropin hormones (LH, FSH and TSH). The beta subunits are distinct in each of the hormones and confer receptor and biological specificity. Has an essential role in pregnancy and maternal adaptation.
