Human CHML Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CHML Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg216-Ile600, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 46.12 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Rab proteins geranylgeranyltransferase component A 2 is a ~74 kDa protein. Substrate-binding subunit (component A) of the Rab geranylgeranyltransferase (GGTase) complex. For research use only.
Binds unprenylated Rab proteins and presents the substrate peptide to the catalytic component B. The component A is thought to be regenerated by transferring its prenylated Rab back to the donor membrane. Less effective than CHM in supporting prenylation of Rab3 family.
