Description
Human CHMP7 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CHMP7 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Leu20-Gly226, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 26.03 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Charged multivesicular body protein 7 (CHMP7) is a ~50 kDa protein. ESCRT-III-like protein required to recruit the ESCRT-III complex to the nuclear envelope (NE) during late anaphase. For research use only.
Together with SPAST, the ESCRT-III complex promotes NE sealing and mitotic spindle disassembly during late anaphase. Recruited to the reforming NE during anaphase by LEMD2. Plays a role in the endosomal sorting pathway.
