Description
Human CHSY3 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CHSY3 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu685-Ser882, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.57 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Chondroitin sulfate synthase 3 (CHSY3) is a ~100 kDa protein. Has both beta-1,3-glucuronic acid and beta-1,4-N-acetylgalactosamine transferase activity. For research use only.
Transfers glucuronic acid (GlcUA) from UDP-GlcUA and N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) from UDP-GalNAc to the non-reducing end of the elongating chondroitin polymer. Specific activity is much reduced compared to CHSY1.
