Human CNBP Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CNBP Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Ala177, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. CCHC-type zinc finger nucleic acid binding protein is a ~19 kDa protein. Single-stranded DNA-binding protein that preferentially binds to the sterol regulatory element (SRE) sequence 5'-GTGCGGTG-3', and thereby mediates transcriptional repression. For research use only.
Has a role as transactivator of the Myc promoter. Binds single-stranded RNA in a sequence-specific manner.
