Human CPLX2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp2-Lys134, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.56 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Complexin-2 (CPLX2) is a ~15 kDa protein. Negatively regulates the formation of synaptic vesicle clustering at active zone to the presynaptic membrane in postmitotic neurons. For research use only.
Positively regulates a late step in exocytosis of various cytoplasmic vesicles, such as synaptic vesicles and other secretory vesicles. Also involved in mast cell exocytosis.
