Description
Human CPSF4 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human CPSF4 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp14-Met165, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 19.65 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor subunit 4 is a ~30 kDa protein. Component of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex that play a key role in pre-mRNA 3'-end formation, recognizing the AAUAAA signal sequence and interacting with poly(A) polymerase and other factors to bring about cleavage and poly(A) addition. For research use only.
CPSF4 binds RNA polymers with a preference for poly(U).
