Human D2HGDH Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg56-Asp232, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 21.4 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. D-2-hydroxyglutarate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (D2HGDH) is a ~56 kDa protein. Catalyzes the oxidation of D-2-hydroxyglutarate (D-2-HG) to alpha-ketoglutarate. For research use only.
Also catalyzes the oxidation of other D-2-hydroxyacids, such as D-malate (D-MAL) and D-lactate (D-LAC). Exhibits high activities towards D-2-HG and D-MAL but a very weak activity towards D-LAC.
