Description
Human DCAF15 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DCAF15 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Tyr386-Val564, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 22.79 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. DDB1- and CUL4-associated factor 15 is a ~66 kDa protein. Substrate-recognition component of the DCX(DCAF15) complex, a cullin-4-RING E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that mediates ubiquitination and degradation of target proteins. For research use only.
The DCX(DCAF15) complex acts as a regulator of the natural killer (NK) cells effector functions, possibly by mediating ubiquitination and degradation of cohesin subunits SMC1A and SMC3. May play a role in the activation of antigen-presenting cells (APC) and their interaction with NK cells.
