Description
Human DESI2 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DESI2 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Leu194, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 23.61 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Deubiquitinase DESI2 is a ~21 kDa protein. Has deubiquitinating activity towards 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. For research use only.
Deubiquitinates 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination of RPS7 leading to its stabilization. Exhibits palmitoyl protein thioesterase (S-depalmitoylation) activity towards synthetic substrates 4-methylumbelliferyl-6-S-palmitoyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside and S-depalmitoylation probe 5 (DPP-5).
