Human DNASE1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Gly19-Ala259, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 29.33 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Expressed by non-hematopoietic tissues and preferentially cleaves protein-free DNA. Among other functions, seems to be involved in cell death by apoptosis. Binds specifically to G-actin and blocks actin polymerization. Together with DNASE1L3, plays a key role in degrading neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs).
