Description
Human DTNB Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DTNB Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Glu249, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 31.05 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Dystrobrevin beta (DTNB) is a ~71 kDa protein. Scaffolding protein that assembles DMD and SNTA1 molecules to the basal membrane of kidney cells and liver sinusoids. For research use only.
May function as a repressor of the SYN1 promoter through the binding of repressor element-1 (RE-1), in turn regulates SYN1 expression and may be involved in cell proliferation regulation during the early phase of neural differentiation. May be required for proper maturation and function of a subset of inhibitory synapses.
