Description
Human DUT Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human DUT Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met112-Asn252, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 17.56 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase, mitochondrial (DUT) is a ~26 kDa protein. Catalyzes the cleavage of 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate (dUTP) into 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-monophosphate (dUMP) and inorganic pyrophosphate and through its action efficiently prevents uracil misincorporation into DNA and at the same time provides dUMP, the substrate for de novo thymidylate biosynthesis. For research use only.
Inhibits peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) activity by binding of its N-terminal to PPAR, preventing the latter's dimerization with retinoid X receptor. Essential for embryonic development.
