Human DYNLL1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)

Human DYNLL1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Cys2-Gly89, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 12.68 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Dynein light chain 1, cytoplasmic (DYNLL1) is a ~10 kDa protein. Component of dynein, a family of motor proteins essential for movement along microtubules. For research use only.

Required for structural and functional integrity of cilia. Acts as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as a motor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. May play a role in changing or maintaining the spatial distribution of cytoskeletal structures.
