Description
Human EDF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human EDF1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Lys148, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 18.53 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Endothelial differentiation-related factor 1 (EDF1) is a ~16 kDa protein. Transcriptional coactivator stimulating NR5A1 and ligand-dependent NR1H3/LXRA and PPARG transcriptional activities. For research use only.
Enhances the DNA-binding activity of ATF1, ATF2, CREB1 and NR5A1. Regulates nitric oxid synthase activity probably by sequestering calmodulin in the cytoplasm. May function in endothelial cells differentiation, hormone-induced cardiomyocytes hypertrophy and lipid metabolism.
