Description
Human EFNA3 Recombinant Protein (C-His)
Human EFNA3 Recombinant Protein (C-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in mammalian cells, spanning Gln23-Ser213, with a C-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 24.30 kDa. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Ephrin-A3 is a ~26 kDa protein. Cell surface GPI-bound ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. For research use only.
Binds promiscuously Eph receptors residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. The signaling pathway downstream of the receptor is referred to as forward signaling while the signaling pathway downstream of the ephrin ligand is referred to as reverse signaling.
