Description
Human EID1/CRI1 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO)
Human EID1/CRI1 Recombinant Protein (N-His-SUMO) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Met1-Glu187, with an N-terminal His-SUMO tag. Predicted molecular weight: 33.39 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. EP300-interacting inhibitor of differentiation 1 is a ~20 kDa protein. Interacts with RB1 and EP300 and acts as a repressor of MYOD1 transactivation. For research use only.
Inhibits EP300 and CBP histone acetyltransferase activity. May be involved in coupling cell cycle exit to the transcriptional activation of genes required for cellular differentiation. May act as a candidate coinhibitory factor for NR0B2 that can be directly linked to transcription inhibitory mechanisms.
