Human ELMO1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Arg471-Asn727, with an N-terminal His tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.18 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Engulfment and cell motility protein 1 (ELMO1) is a ~83 kDa protein. Involved in cytoskeletal rearrangements required for phagocytosis of apoptotic cells and cell motility. For research use only.
Acts in association with DOCK1 and CRK. Was initially proposed to be required in complex with DOCK1 to activate Rac Rho small GTPases. May enhance the guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activity of DOCK1.
