Human EMX1 Recombinant Protein (N-His)
Human EMX1 Recombinant Protein (N-His) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Asp154-Asp290, with an N-terminal His tag. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Homeobox protein EMX1 is a ~31 kDa protein. Transcription factor, which in cooperation with EMX2, acts to generate the boundary between the roof and archipallium in the developing brain. For research use only.
May function in combinations with OTX1/2 to specify cell fates in the developing central nervous system.
